Hotel Chocolat Peanut Butter and Jelly Milkshake

Hotel Chocolat Peanut Butter and Jelly Milkshake Chocolates

Yes it is another round of Hotel Chocolate delights. The reason for the visit at the weekend was purely for gift purposes only. However after perusing the Selector section and spying the Hotel Chocolat Peanut Butter and Jelly Milkshake, I knew they were coming home with me.

Usually the PB & J combo is something that is given a miss. However the description of “salted peanut praline sandwiched in jammy raspberry-white chocolate” was too enticing.

As always the Selector’s come in at £3.95 a pop or 3 for £10. There are a few newbies in town, and I hear there are more hitting the shops very soon. I’ve been pretty addicted to their Lady Marmalade Gin truffles (FYI review here) and frankly these need to be amazing to take the crown. Let’s get tasting.

They look milkshake-esque and smelly deliciously fruity. The sweet raspberry fruit paired with silky smooth white chocolate came through immediately. White chocolate was absolutely the right choice and combined with fruity flavour, it screams milkshake. The inner of peanut praline was certainly thick and the tiny nutty pieces gave some texture. Just when pondering where the peanut butter flavour was, it made an appearance. Subtle but not invisible, the peanut butter flavouring became more so as I munched on. Together the PB & J is a winning combination here.

Hotel Chocolat Peanut Butter and Jelly Milkshake you are a little summer treat. A lovely new addition of which I like the milkshake element to it. Although a smidge more peanut butter would be very welcomed, these were delicious, and thoroughly enjoyable. The only issue was I couldn’t stop at just eating one!
