Buttermilk Gingerbread Honeycomb, could it be as fantastic as it sounds? These artisan confectioners are known for their buttery fudge, chewy honeycomb and varying brittles, and come the festive season even they cannot resist getting into the spirit of things. With endless choices the Buttermilk Gingerbread Honeycomb is certainly the one that caught my eye, how can they combine the two? Handmade in their kitchen’s in Cornwall, these sizeable chunks of honeycomb are suitable for vegetarians, have no nasty artificial flavourings and are gluten free. A 150g box comes in at £3.99. I love the cute packaging, it may just be…

Okay so technically these are a Christmas edition however given the delightfulness of the other McVitie’s Nibbles I couldn’t not try these new McVitie’s White Chocolate Nibbles. It is well over a year since the original Mcvitie’s Nibbles came on the scene in four flavours including Dark Chocolate and Caramel. It is about time that we had a new flavour and what better reason than for the festive run-up. This snowflake themed 120g bag has been spotted in Tesco as well as Ocado which is where I purchased these for  a rounded £1.oo. As with most packaging it is deceiving and…

Love Bailey’s? Love baking? Then look no further; Lily Vanilli’s Baileys recipes are here. I have said it before and I will say it again, I don’t see the fascination with Bailey’s in terms of a straight forward drink, however baking is a whole different realm and Lily Vanilli’s has got my baking hands tingling.  Baileys have teamed up with London baker Lily Vanilli and she has concocted some easy peasy bakes for us to whip up at home in a flash. There are several recipes to chose from ranging from Bailey’s Fudge to Chocolate Cake with Baileys Salted Caramel and Baileys…

Happy Christmas Eve Everyone, Santa is coming!!! There is no better way to celebrate than with a festive tipple and Sainsbury’s Cocktail Baubles have it covered.  These 3 colourful baubles cost a jolly good £5.00 and were part of the gifting range. Despite their cuteness the primary reason I bought them was because it included a Cosmo. Cosmos are certainly my choice of cocktail and I just cannot turn one down. Despite the size there are quite a lot of E numbers crammed in each one so I imagine you will be bouncing off the walls after a few. To serve it…

We couldn’t have a festive period without a Reese’s Peanut Butter Tree now could we. Usually I struggle to find the Reese’s limited edition holiday ones but this year the Reese’s Trees are in abundance in the stores near me.  This 34g tree cost a rounded £1.00 from the local newsagents, however these are readily available in all major supermarkets. Huzzah! Festive rich milk chocolate candy filled with the creamy peanut butter. There was some controversy over Reese’s shape ability but this year seems to be far better than the ridiculously shaped blobs of last Christmas. At first glance these…
