Giggling Squid Farnham Thai Restaurant & Tapas

This is the first time I have ever been to Giggling Squid*. I haven’t heard too much from others about this Thai Restaurant and Tapas but it must be popular as there are 25+ restaurants and there wasn’t any let up on the number of people coming through the doors. Nestled in Castle Street, walking into the Giggling Squid Farnham was like being welcomed with open arms.  Spacious and architecturally beautiful, this building has character. Anyone who knows Farnham knows the buildings have history behind them. Eating out is one of my favourite things to do and what better way to kick start the…

Maltesers Buttons

Unpopular opinion but I could take or leave Maltesers, even the Maltesers Bunny and Reindeer isn’t enough to float my boat, but I tell you what does… those chunky nuggets in the Celebrations box, man oh man it is a scramble to get those Teasers first! So in the hope that these new Malteser Buttons which boast a greater ratio of chocolate to malt, are heavenly, I knew I had to give them try.  It has been a while since Maltesers have given us something new and then bam we have a whole host of newbies including these Buttons, the…

The Body Shop Banana Limited Edition Range

To say that I was excited when I read the email that The Body Shop had expanded their Banana range is a little bit of an understatement and there may have been a few excited squeals *don’t judge me*. Banana done well is one of my favourite smells. The range has expanded from just haircare to now include Body Butter, Body Yoghurt and Shower Cream.  The packaging is cooky, fun and summery and all the products use community trade banana puree, and the…

Mr Kipling James’ Peaches & Cream Slices

What happens when a well know cake and treat company takes inspiration from an author that sent children’s imaginations into overdrive? A whole host of aptly themed treats that’s what. Yes Mr Kipling has taken inspiration from Roald Dahl and transformed some of it’s favourites with new and exciting flavours.  From George’s Marvellous Lemon & Raspberry Whirls, Enormous Croc’s Chocolate Mud Pies and The BFG’s Strawbunkle & Cream Fancies, to name a few, I had my eyes on one thing and one thing only, Mr Kipling James’ Peaches & Cream Slices. Why? It’s purely down to the peach! Some of these…

The Chilli Pickle Guildford

I was lucky enough to be invited to the launch night of The Chilli Pickle in Guildford. On the streets of the upper high street of Guildford you certainly cannot miss this vibrantly coloured Indian restaurant and it has the interior to match. The opening of Indian restaurants aren’t exactly regular occurrences so I was pretty ecstatic to see that the newly refurbished restaurant wasn’t just going to be another cuisine that we already have.  So who are The Chilli Pickle? Well the very first was opened in Brighton with the aim to offer an authentic and accessible Indian dining…
