KitKat Krispy Kreme Doughnuts

It has been a while since we have had a Krispy Kreme Doughnut on the blog. This is firstly because I no longer work in a town with a Krispy Kreme shop/stall (I know what sorcery is this). And two because the recent additions haven’t exactly been over enticing. That being said the new KitKat Krispy Kreme Doughnuts had me intrigued and wanting to give them a go.  Signature doughnut, dipped in milk chocolate or White Chocolate flavour icing, topped with crushed KitKat pieces and a milk / white chocolate KitKat Bite.  I love a KitKat and I love the original glazed Krispy Kreme so…

Christmas: Krispy Kreme Santa Belly and Melting Snowman

Christmas treats are here and the limited edition foods are in full swing. Following the Bonfire Toffee & the Gingerbread Ring I didn’t think Krispy Kreme would miss the opportunity to get on the festive train, and thankfully they have climbed aboard with plenty of time before the big day itself. To see us through to Christmas we have Krispy Kreme Santa Belly and Melting Snowman and Snowflake Sprinkles.   Now there was quite the debacle in getting said doughnuts. These did in fact come out yesterday and as usually happens on a Monday, the day does not go to plan. Nonetheless…

Krispy Kreme Gingerbread Ring and Bonfire Toffee

Halloween is well and truly over and we are onto Bonfire Night. So put down your candy because Krispy Kreme Gingerbread Ring and Bonfire Toffee is here to keep you company this bonfire season. Keeping it very much under the radar, Krispy Kreme only let on of these scrumptious sounding treats along with 2 new drinks – Gingerbread Latte and Bonfire Toffee Shake late last night. There is no hiding the doughnuts from me, and the fact gingerbread has made an entrance there was no way I was not getting it today.  A ring doughnut dipped in ginger flavoured icing &…

Monster Munchies: Krispy Kreme Vintage Pumpkin Spiced

What better way to kick off the start of the Monster Munchies Halloween Series on the blog than with the new Krispy Kreme Vintage Pumpkin Spiced. This doughnut marks the end of the comeback doughnuts and like all the others were, it is available for the next two weeks.  For those regular readers you will know I have been less than impressed. The Vintage Glazed Kreme was dull, the Powdered Blueberry had the most delicious fruity filling but was encased in undercooked dough and the Cruller well what the heck was that? I think we are all rooting for this Krispy Kreme Vintage Pumpkin…

Krispy Kreme Vintage Cruller

Okay so we have already had the boring Krispy Kreme Glazed Kreme, the rather undercooked but delicious filling from the Powdered Blueberry and now we have the penultimate doughnut, which comes in the form of Krispy Kreme Vintage Cruller.  If you haven’t a clue what this doughnut is or in fact how to pronounce it, you are not alone. To save face I just asked the every so happy Krispy Kreme chap for ‘the new one’ and ta-da £1.75 later one Cruller was in the bag. This is certainly quite the eye candy for a doughnut. It doesn’t need all the fancy icing…
