Oreo Cheesecake

I have spied the Oreo Cheesecake lurking in the freezer aisle many times. Always tempted but never taken the plunge, until today. I love Oreos as much as the next person but am dubious of frozen desserts, and after the Oreo Yoghurt I am right to have my reservations.  This 350g cheesecake was £3.00 from Sainsbury’s which I thought was a very reasonable price indeed. Asda Peanut Butter Cheesecake

I am throwing it out there but I do not see the fascination of cheesecake. Aside from the biscuit base I am not all that in love with cheesecake and would rather sink my teeth into a different dessert. That said my taste buds were alight when I spied the Asda Peanut Butter Cheesecake whilst on my recent travels. Today’s review is in homage to red velvet and is the Asda Red Velvet Cheesecake.  In a rare jaunt to Asda I picked this single cheesecake up from their fresh dessert aisle for £1.50. A little pricey but if you get it on offer for 2 for £2.00 it isn’t too bad.  I hate to report that it…

Lacasa Turrón de Cheesecake

Sunday the day of rest and today’s review is Lacasa turrón de Cheesecake, and was part of some exciting goodies brought back for me from Spain. Pretty as a picture and despite not being a great cheesecake fan. I was looking forward to trying this rather different goodie. Nougat Praline Cheesecake As with all cheesecakes you have the biscuit base and cheesecake upper, and this is no different, albeit the two layers aren’t very visible to the eye. The first thing I noticed was the smell, and not a very nice smell, a cross between cheap quality white chocolate and sickly…
