Cadbury Orange Chocolate Buttons

Earlier this week I reviewed the Orange Chocolate Fingers and today it is the turn of the Cadbury Orange Chocolate Buttons. Combining both smooth and creamy Dairy Milk chocolate with a citrus-fresh orange hint, I wondered if these would be like little puddles of Twirl Orange joy.  Currently available in Londis and Budgens stores I found mine in the latter, which also seems to be where most people are finding them. They will also be venturing into One Stop stores now and Tesco from September, although they have already been spotted in Tesco. These retail at £1.99 a bag but have…

Beaulieu Chocolate Studio Amaretti Chocolate Bar

Beaulieu Chocolate Studio creations are not a newbie to the blog and I have already reviewed two bars, Pistachio and Forest Fruits. This time it is the turn of the Beaulieu Chocolate Studio Amaretti Chocolate Bar Nestled in the New Forest they create contemporary and local speciality chocolates which are all hand-made using fresh and where possible local ingredients. The store itself is divided into two halves, one where the magic happens and the chocolate is made, and the other the store. It’s a chocoholics mini paradise.  Although the New Forest and Beaulieu are lovely places to lists, you can now…

Maryland Cookies ‘n’ Cream

Okay so these Maryland Cookies ‘n’ Cream aren’t strictly new. They certainly won’t be as exciting as the new Mint Choc ones (available in B&M review from Kev here), but that being said they are new to our local Sainsbury’s. If you think of cookies and cream I bet you’re thinking of Oreo’s, because they are kind on the cookies and cream flavour. Many other biscuits have tried to nail it but sadly the Oreo remains champion.  These are available in mainstream supermarkets and cost around 75p – £1.00 a pack. Maryland have expanded their range in a few different…

Rococo Chocolates Roald Dahl James’ Scrumptious Peach

Chocolate lovers rejoice because this is the place for you. Those eagle eyed readers will remember me talking about Rococo Chocolates as part of my Covent Garden Hidden Gems post (here). Upon discovering this store of eccentric wonder I could not have walked away empty handed, and one of my purchases included this Roald Dahl James’ Scrumptious Peach bar  From freshly handmade truffles, to chocolate bars, thins and animal shaped creations, there’s something for everyone. They’ve also teamed up with Roald Dahl to create a fantabulous phizzwhizzing range destined to take you back to your childhood! From Fantastic Mr Fox, Matilda, Bruce…
