Ever since my local Cinnabon shut I have been on the lookout for some delicious cinnamon buns to fill that whole in my foodie heart. Enter the House of Cinn Cinnamon Buns. Not only do they give us doughy delights they are also helping the community because they put people first and are funding and working alongside all manner of projects to empower people to rebuild their lives.
In the 4 bun ‘sharing’ pack they come in the classic cream cheese for £4 as well as the salted caramel pecan flavour for £4.50. If you find the single buns for sale then they also had caramelised biscuit.
The salted caramel and pecan combination is a winner. There’s a generous amount of cinnamon running through the soft, fluffy dough, and the salted caramel adds just the right amount of sweetness, while the chopped pecans bring a lovely bit of crunch.
One thing House of Cinn gets spot on is the frosting-to-bun ratio. Don’t you just hate it when it is a wipe on wipe off situation! Not here, there’s enough frosting for overbite without drowning out the cinnamon dough.These are definitely best served warm so either pop them in the oven / air fryer or microwave to give you warm delicious buns that are *chefs kiss.
The House of Cinn Cinnamon Buns are indulgent and dangerously easy to polish off. Throw in the fact that they are making a positive social impact through its work, and you’ve got a treat that’s easy to feel good about buying.
