We are Tea Sleep Teas

Sometimes we all need a little help to catch some Zzzz’s. I have tried the holistic method with Tisserand Little Sleep Kit and now it is the turn of a good old cuppa thanks to We Are Tea Sleep Tea*.  Part of their Super Tea range We are Tea have created a whole host of teas that not only do good for your body but also taste good.

I am first to put my hand up and say lavender tea would not be my first choice. In fact it would come way, way, way, way down the list of teas to buy or try. That being said I have come to very much trust We are Tea and have been pleasantly surprised by a number of their tea concoctions, including their Moroccan Mint Green Tea and Ceylon with Vanilla

This resealable aptly coloured purple pouch contains 12 biodegradable plastic free pyramid tea bags and comes in at £3.49. Combining a real super food blend of lavender, chamomile, rose and holy basil all you need to do to create the perfect brew is use freshly boiled water and let it infuse for 3-4 minutes.

These really are the prettiest tea bags I have seen. Look at them! They smelt incredibly fresh, and boy were they strong, I can only recommend perhaps not giving it a good whiff if you aren’t too keen on lavender as it did make me even more apprehensive that I may have been about to drink a cup full of potpourri!

Thankfully this didn’t taste at all like that, it was actually far more mellow than I expected. It had a perfumed taste that was subtle, light and refreshing. Lavender is definitely prominant as well as the chamomile. I am not 100% sure whether it actually resulted in having a good night’s sleep, however it was a nice cup of tea to end the evening with and certainly aided in feeling more relaxed.

I am once again pleasantly surprised by the We Are Tea Sleep Tea. They have pushed me to try something I wouldn’t normally choose and it has paid off. Of all the ones I have recently tried I still think my favourite, and the one I keep coming back to drink is the Moroccan Mint Green Tea.

I might well give this a try since I often get a mere 2 hours. Thanks.

I too would be really dubious about a lavender flavoured tea, but it actually sounds quite interesting from your description. Glad you gave it a go! 🙂
