Red Velvet Cupcake Baileys

In collaboration with US brand Georgetown Cupcake, Baileys first launched its Red Velvet flavour back in the Autumn. This was strictly available in the US however if you follow on Instagram you may have seen my post about the Red Velvet Cupcake Baileys having crossed the pond to the UK.  It seemed that this was the only way of getting your hands on this limited edition bottle was through The Bottle Club, however that was until I stumbled across it in Costco no less.  You can purchase this through Amazon here and it has also just hit supermarket shelves. Chips Ahoy! Red Velvet

First we had the awful Fox’s Red Velvet Crunch Creams, then the deliciously sweet Red Velvet Oreo and today we have Chips Ahoy! Red Velvet. Yes my obsession with red velvet has intensified but as Valentine’s is almost here I knew I had to have these beauties in my life. I found these in my trusty American import shop aka Longacres Garden Centre. These were just shy of £5.00, yes almost a fiver for a pack of cookies, but I had to have them. Red cookie artificially flavoured with a cream cheese filling topped with cream cheese flavored chips. Per 2 cookies: 140… View Post

Tesco Red Velvet Cookies

With all these Red Velvet goodies gracing our shelves anyone would think that Valentines Day is coming up, not Christmas. With my love of red velvet I am certainly not complaining and instead am embracing the red cocoa delights. Today’s review is all about Tesco Red Velvet Cookies. For a rounded £1.00 it will give you 5 reasonably sized baked cookies and if you are feeling hungry then these are part of 2 for £1.50.  Soft chewy red cookies with white… View Post

Asda Red Velvet Cheesecake

Red Velvet is slowly but surely being incorporated into other varieties other than just cake. Red velvet cake is my favourite cake in all the land and I am all for it popping up in other forms just so long as it is done well. Today’s review is in homage to red velvet and is the Asda Red Velvet Cheesecake.  In a rare jaunt to Asda I picked this single cheesecake up from their fresh dessert aisle for £1.50. A little pricey but if you get it on offer for 2 for £2.00 it isn’t too bad.  I hate to report that it… View Post

Red Velvet Oreos

Today is a glorious day because Oreos are on the blog today and not just any old Oreos, oh no siry bob today is the day I give you Red Velvet Oreos! Now I am sure like many of you being a red velvet lover we have been envious of the USA having these whilst here in the UK we are stuck with plain and simple Oreos, it simply isn’t fair is it.  Whilst in my favourite Garden Centre – Longacres, they have a cubbyhole of American treats and where I can get my staple peanut butter (FYI Peanut Butter Co Old… View Post
