Snickers Peanut Butter Squared

Being the Peanut Butter lover that I am, my gorgeous bestie found a Snickers Peanut Butter Squared whilst on holiday and proclaimed it was the best thing in all the land. Rather than letting me sob in a corner that I had missed out, she bought me one back! She’s a keeper isn’t she! 

Caramel, nougat, milk chocolate, roasted peanuts and peanut butter squished into two square-shaped nuggets.

As you can see one of the squares was a little smooshed but that certainly wasn’t going to put me off. Cutting in half there were 3 distinct layers all encased by milk chocolate and the overwhelmingly delicious smell of peanuts. All it took was one bite and I had truly entered another realm of yumminess. There wasn’t a great deal of chocolate but I liked that the chocolate wasn’t the star of the show and was only there really to just keep everything together. The nougat was smooth and a lot less than that of a standard Snickers bar. Piled high on top of the nougat was the peanut butter with the roasted peanuts plopped inside. Whole chunks of roasted peanuts were the perfect addition and give it that added peanut crunch factor, but also that much needed texture to avoid it being overly smooth. The peanut butter isn’t the natural kind but it is true to flavour, the flavour comes through and it holds a little saltiness to it. 

This Snickers Peanut Butter Squared is one delicious chocolate bar. The packets does say ‘save one for later’ well I salute anyone who can wrap this back up and save for later because there was no hope for my bar. If you love Snickers and you love Peanut Butter well this is the bar for you, I will go as far as to say it trumps a standard Snickers any day of the week! Come on UK start stocking the Snickers Peanut Butter!
