Ritz Bits Peanut Butter

Ritz Bits Peanut Butter Crackers

Peanut butter meets crackers here with today’s review of Ritz Bits Peanut Butter Crackers. I have previously reviewed the pretzel version with Snyders of Hanover PB Pretzels as well as the sweeter Oreo Mini Reese’s PB and UK Oreo PB, so it is only fitting to see how the crackers measure up.

As suggested these are mini. I love Ritz crackers and can literally sit there and quite happily eat the whole box. Thankfully these have the both the traditional look and taste of Ritz crackers. They were crunchy with a little sprinkling of salt however were a smidge on the dry side. Onto the ‘made with real peanut butter’ filling. I didn’t think it was ever possible to make a dry creamy peanut butter but Ritz have done it and decided to sandwich it between two dry crackers. As you can imagine after a few dry upon dry = someone please pass me a glass of water! Aside from all this dryness there is also a lack of peanut butter, which is probably to do with the incredibly thin layer of peanut butter they have used. Was there some kind of peanut butter shortage at the time of making? There is a hint of peanut butter flavour but this is gone as quick as it arrived.

These are not unpleasant by any means. The crackers have that traditional Ritz flavour and the peanut butter is sort of there. Ritz need to address the dryness and then sandwich a heck of a lot more actual creamy peanut butter in-between these crackers to make them a winner. To be fair I still ate the packet, just with a large glass of water on the side!

Out of all the beverages you could have picked to wash down your dry Ritz with, why the heckeo did you choose boring water? Surely, Tea would’ve been a better option to get them down.. Or Fizzy or Juice or Hot Chocolate or a Milkshake – Literally anything other than water. WINE FOR JJ SAKE! SORT IT OUT PEANUT. xx
