Happy National Popcorn Day! I cannot believe I almost missed it. Fear not I have just about made it and in homage to such a glorious day let’s take a peek at Joe & Seph’s Chocolate Orange popcorn.
For me Joe and Seph’s is my go to indulgent popcorn. You can count on them to bring handmade armada popcorn that has unique flavours, push boundaries and above all they too gave us cocktail popcorn. There are a real host of flavours, both sweet and savoury, and it is hard to pick just one. Thankfully that was taken away from me as this was a gift from a friend and what a jolly good choice.
Price wise we are talking £4.00 for a standard 80g pouch or £5.00 for 120g. If you are having a mare on what to choose then you could take advantage of there varying offers that they have. Presently this is buy 5 get one free.
Popcorn with Belgian Chocolate & Orange. Gluten Free.
Cracking open the kilner jar the smell of zesty orange was as inviting as ever. I envisaged the popcorn itself to be glossy however it was more of a matte chocolate coating, not the end of the world because the smell will draw you in.
These mismatched shaped popped kernels were crisp and crunchy but still with a slight chewiness to them. The quality of milk chocolate is up there and is thin but enough to hit the chocolate craving but not too much that it drowns out the popcorn. Joe and Seph’s have certainly nailed the flavour, sweet but slightly bitter it is giving me Christmas vibes still and what with the current balletic weather, they kind of go hand in hand.
Joe & Seph’s Chocolate Orange Popcorn is a winner. Delicious, indulgent there really isn’t anything to dislike here. If you fancy getting your hands on some you can on their website, or they also have selected flavours in Sainsbury’s, Lakeland and Ocado.
Are you tucking into some popcorn today? What’s your favourite?
