Nude Popcorn Sweet & Salty

Nude Popcorn Company

It’s no lie that I love popcorn, these little popped kernels are a blank canvas for all kinds of sweet, savoury and even cocktail flavours, there really appears to be no limits. The Nude Popcorn Company is another branch of the Tyrell’s Family and sits along their already established Poshcorn. Nude Popcorn is new on the popcorn block and boasts to be 30% less fat than regular oil popped popcorn, is vegan friendly and gluten free.

At the moment Nude Popcorn comes in three flavours, Salty & Sweet, Simply Sweet and Simply Salty and are available in both multipacks and larger 85g singular packs. Exclusively at Sainsbury’s I picked up a multipack for a reasonable price of £1.50.

Nude Popcorn Company Sweet & SaltyCloud-puffed wholegrain mouth-melting loveliness 12g – 51kcal, 0.1g sat fat, 2.2g sugar & 0.9g protein.

Each kernel was hand popped to perfection and still had a little crunch to them. No kernel was left nude of flavour and as a whole it was more on the salty side with a few nuggets of sweetness in between, which was just enough to satisfy the sweet craving. Being more on the salty side gave this popcorn more of a savoury edge and one that I actually preferred.

From previous experience of Poshcorn I am pleasantly surprised that Nude Popcorn have not followed suit and have managed to get consistent flavour in their bags of popcorn. 12g is a diddy amount and I was left wanting more, but for a snack these do hit the spot and I shall indeed be buying these again.
