Propercorn Smooth Peanut & Almond

Propercorn Smooth Peanut and Almond

As you are well aware I am a self-confessed Peanut Butter Addict. Given in my eyes pretty much everything is better with Peanut Butter, I have been waiting for someone to do a Peanut / Peanut Butter popcorn for some time. Enter Propercorn……

A little while back a birdie told me that Propercorn were releasing a new flavour in the name of Smooth Peanut & Almond, cue excitement levels. As such I have been keeping my peepers open when out and about but have yet to come across this newbie, so when I saw on Twitter that people were munching on this and I enquired where they found it, and then the fabulously lovely people at Propercorn offered to send me some. A few days later this gloriously cute box arrived not with just 1, but 6 packets of Propercorn Smooth Peanut & Almond *.

Opening up the bag I got a whiff of creamy nuttiness that was ever so tempting. From the first handful I knew Propercorn were onto a winner here. I really wasn’t sure what to expect, would the flavouring be powdery or gritty, but no it wasn’t, in fact it was completely smooth peanut and almond coating on every single morsel of popcorn. The smooth peanut is defiantly the star of the show and is the predominant taste, in fact it really is like eating spoonfuls of peanut butter. Now this really is not a downside for me considering my love for peanut, however I did struggle to pick out the almond. Nonetheless the smoothness and creaminess in flavouring goes perfectly with the contrasting crunch from the popcorn. Despite the warning of beware of the occasional un-popped kernel, I was pleasantly surprised not to find even one!

Propercorn I take my hat off to you because your new addition is truly truly scrummy, and in actual fact is my new favourite. Suitable for Vegans, GM Free, Gluten and Wheat free, Propercorn really have made it so popcorn is done properly, and near enough everyone can enjoy it. Better still it’s also made in Britain. So what are you waiting for, go get your hands on some Propercorn!
