Happy Friyay! Krispy Kreme have been pretty active recently, what with their ridiculous name change saga which was so obviously an April Fools it still got people going nuts. Nonetheless they were not telling porkie pies over some new additions to the Krispy Kreme family.
When you are feeling rubbish doughnuts are clearly the answer and the Krispy Kreme Hershey’s Cookies ‘n’ Creme Ring was on the menu. I am not the biggest Hershey’s chocolate fan, it’s not particularly the greatest chocolate but I am glad Krispy Kreme opted for Cookies n Creme as this is the best of the bunch.
Our signature ring, topped with white chocolate flavoured coating and Hershey’s Cookies ‘n’ Creme pieces.
Looks alone this is one darn good looking doughnut isn’t it? The crumbled cookie topping was in abundance, which wasn’t the case for some of the others sitting in the cabinet, so sadly consistency was once again an issue. The doughnut was on point and back on fine form. Light and springy with a little chew to it, doughnut texture doesn’t get much better than this. The Cookies ‘n’ Creme flavour comes through which ultimately is down to the amount of crumbled pieces on top, without this it would just be a white chocolate flavoured doughnut. Prepare yourself for sweetness overload, the classic glaze coupled with the evidently flavoured white chocolate coating and the Cookies ‘n’ Creme pieces, means you are going to be bouncing off the walls after this one.
I cannot deny I enjoyed this little beauty. It tasted how I had hoped, was better than expected and a solid effort from Krispy Kreme. Available in Tesco Cabinets and Krispy Kreme Stores, go grab yourself one.
Have you tried the new Krispy Kreme additions? What are your thoughts? Let me know.

Oh.. This does surprise me. Why was my Kreme filled number so crappy?! Xx
I ask the very question cupcake! Aside from an Original Glazed which is obvs the best, I would always pick a filled over an ring one but on this occasion the ring is superior. xx
