The batons are becoming a library of flavours. From the traditional varying percentage of milk and dark chocolate to the more fruitier strawberry cheesecake and dessert filled brownie flavour. Today’s review features two faves – chocolate and peanut butter. Yes it is all about the Hotel Chocolat Peanut Butter Batons.
Costing £7.00 each or 2 for £12 you can pick these up at Hotel Chocolat stores and web shop. These 15 chunky batons consist of…. “A melt of caramel-milk chocolate with roasted notes of peanut butter. Enhanced with a tingle of fine French sea salt”.
A thick snap of chocolate that then melts in the mouth, what is not to love. FYI these are also exceptionally delicious dipped in a cuppa. The chocolate is thick and creamy and has mellow but undeniable flavour of peanut butter flavour. If you have had the PB Slab then it is basically a baton version.
The batons are a more manageable way to the traditional slabs they do, and if you like to share then they are perfect.
After loving these Hotel Chocolat Peanut Butter Batons, I would definitely make a beeline for the baton section. What I really want to see next from Hotel Chocolat is a Ruby Chocolate Baton or Selector.
