Lindt Hello Salted Caramel

Lindt Hello Salted Caramel

Lindt is back on the blog today with the Lindt Hello Salted Caramel bar. It’s no secret that I think Lindt is the bees knees, don’t get me wrong they did shatter my dreams and I’m not sure I can ever fully forgive them when I found out I couldn’t go and get my Lindt chocolate from the master chocolatier chap in the hat, but it is true that I am yet to come across a bad Lindt chocolate bar.

Alongside the traditional Lindt bars and truffle balls, they have bought out a newer, funkier range of chocolate bars in the the form of Hello My Name Is …. These bars come in an array of varieties – Strawberry Cheesecake, Cookies & Cream, Nougat Crunch and today’s review Salted Caramel. Where would the world be without salted caramel these days?

Lindt Hello Salted CaramelMilk Chocolate with Salted Caramel Filling – 100g -£1.79

First and foremost I am loving the sleek packaging, even down to the print on the foil and the choclate bar itself! Divided into 8 chunky pieces the sweet creamy smell was evident and as enticing as a bar of chocolate can be. Splitting open you can see the generous yellow filling that is littered with flakes of salt. For those fearing it looks a bit solid to be caramel fear not because it was delightfully thick and oh so gooey. The caramel was dark, rich and buttery and married with the perfection that is Lindt creamy, silky milk chocolate. The question on everyones lips is is the salted caramel salted? Yes people we actually have salted caramel here! I was a tad concerned that visually it appeared to be bits of salt in the caramel and it would be a tad gritty but it was the complete opposite. The ratio of caramel to salt is spot on and really does deliver against the indulgent chocolate.

Well Lindt have done it again. Another deliciously indulgent bar that delivers on both quality and flavour and they have managed to get the perfect balance of salty sweet. This is one bar you need to try. Tease my tastebuds you certainly did, Lindt Hello Salted Caramel you are just heavenly and I am in love with ye.
