Most of the vitamin ‘healthy’ drinks are either packed full of sugar to make them palatable or have no added sugar and it’s like drinking dirty dish water. Enter VitHit. The VitHit mission is to make drinks that taste as good or better than their sugary counterparts, all the while adding as much goodness without compromising on taste. Now that is quite the mission.
Coming in 5 varieties, today’s review is all about the VitHit Lean and Green.
There is some sugar content to this VitHit but at 35 calories and 6.5 grams of sugar this really is a drop in the ocean in comparison to others. It’s by no means a fresh tasting drink so do not expect a crisp apple and elderflower number. To be honest the flavours are not that distinguishable and without the label I would be hard pushed to tell it was Apple or Elderflower. That being said I really do like it, it’s tasty and very pleasant. I like that it is not too sweet and has a slight tart edge to it that you get with green apples. Lean & Green is best served cold however is still rather nice if at room temperature. Boasting a lot of health benefits I am a tad dubious about how many you would have to consume before noticing said benefits, and really this is a drink you should have in line with a healthy lifestyle rather than relying on it for health benefit.
