V Gallery Marshmallow Vodka

V Gallery Marshmallow Vodka

Flavoured alcohol is certainly growing with combinations and flavours you never would have thought would be on the shelves. Today’s review is a little out there for Vodka with V Gallery Marshmallow Vodka! Now you always see your fruity vodka’s but marshmallow vodka is a brand new one for me as is V Gallery, and being a marshmallow lover I was very excited to give it a whirl.

So who are V Gallery Vodka? Well their aim is to combine Italian style with UK innovation in a new and exciting range of award-winning flavoured vodka spirits. They use the smoothest 5 x distilled Italian grain vodka with the finest flavours and bottle it in the UK to produce 4 fun flavoured vodka spirits – Marshmallow, Toffee Fudge, Mango Crush and Cucumber.

Whilst walking around Costco I was first drawn to the cute yet rather sleek pink packaging. I was umming and arring over buying it, but one of the many things I love about Costco is their little stands dotted throughout the store with goodies to try. Low and behold I turned a corner and there was a little taster of the marshmallow vodka! To cut a long story short the bottle went in the trolley.

V Gallery Vodka Marshmallow50cl 21% ABV – Nostalgic flavour of sweet, pink marshmallow infused with vanilla and red fruits

Being rock and roll I decided to have it as it is rather than with a mixer. The vodka was clear and a little thicker in consistency than regular vodka and I liked that it had a mini cork stopper rather than a screw cap. It had a deliciously sweet smell of sugary marshmallow that was ever so inviting and translated in taste. Sipping away it didn’t have that sharp, burning sensation that vodka has and is actually very smooth and pleasant to drink, even neat. It had a nice warmth to it that carried through the sweet marshmallowesque flavour. I was pleasantly surprised that not only have V Gallery got the taste spot on, it tastes authentic and is not at all sickly sweet.

Who’d have thought you could get such a delicious tasting marshmallow vodka? V Gallery Marshmallow Vodka has hit the nail on the head with a great flavour and is just delightful. If you fancy something a wee bit different to drink or as a present, this is one to try. I am intrigued to see if the other V Gallery flavours are just as nice and shall certainly be on the lookout, unfortunately I haven’t found it in Costco since.
