KIND Sea Salt Nut Bars

KIND Sea Salt Nut Bars

I confess I have never had a KIND bar. I cannot really pinpoint as to why but it is just not a snack bar I have ever picked up, however that is all going to change because the lovely people at KIND sent me not one, not two but a whole variety box of the them to try.

First thought – there are SO many flavours!

Second Thought – which to start with they all sound delicious!

Needless to say I settled on these 3 KIND Sea Salt Nut Bars*. Caramel Almond & Sea Salt, Maple Glazed Pecan & Sea Salt and Dark Chocolate Nuts & Sea Salt. All of these are high in fibre, have nuts galore, are gluten free and aside from the Caramel Almond, the other two are Dairy Free.

Picking these bars up isn’t going to be a problem as they are sold in many outlets. Supermarkets, Boots, Ocado, Holland and Barrett and Whole Foods to name a few. Depending on which bar is chosen and where you buy it from will dictate the price, which ranges from £1.29 – £1.99.

All three were jam packed with nuts of different sizes. The Dark Chocolate Nuts & Sea Salt was probably the nuttiest tasting and was a fine example of a nuts with chocolate and not chocolate with nuts. The slight bitterness from the dark chocolate laid the path of this not being too sweet, and the added pockets of saltiness made for a really delicious bar that is perfect for an afternoon pick me up.

If you opt for the Maple Glazed Pecan & Sea Salt prepare yourself because it is one sticky number. Given its uber glossy coating you’d have thought it was going to be loaded with sugary sweetness but actually it was not. Maple is one of my favourite flavours. It’s dark, sweet and has a real depth of flavour, and that is what we have here and it covers a whole host of pecans. A win right there.

Last but by no means least the Caramel Almond & Sea Salt. Surprisingly the caramel was subtle despite the thick coating on the bottom of the bar. Almonds aren’t a nut I go for on their own, but here they were delicious and were a perfect fit with the salted caramel and hint of honey.

Well what can I say, these KIND Sea Salt Nut Bars are nutty-licious. I am so late to the KIND party but it is surely better late than ever. The KIND Maple Glazed Pecan & Sea Salt and Dark Chocolate Nuts & Sea Salt are my favourite, with the maple possibly just about taking the number 1 spot

What are your favourite KIND bars? Which one’s do I need to be trying next?

These look so delicious! I think I shall get me a few. I am always a little sceptical when it comes to bars like this as usually they are covered in sugar but these look decent. Thanks for the review!

Thank you :). I am skeptical too, and nut bars really aren’t usually my thing but I was totally surprised by these and looking forward to trying some more from their range x
