Montezuma’s Peanut Butter Mini Eggs

Easter, the time where it is fully acceptable to eat copious amounts of hot cross buns and chocolate. Montezuma’s have bought out an Easter range that include peanut butter mini eggs. Yes that’s right peanut butter mini eggs *extreme excited face*. As we all know I do not need any encouragement to eat peanut butter and my little blogging compadres shared the fact Montezuma’s were doing such delights a few months ago but Ocado have been sold out ever since. #MissionPBminieggs was on and was further fuelled by the lovely Review Addict raving about these in her review here. Ambrosia Frozen Custard – Vanilla

Last Sunday I was flicking through one of my magazines and spotted Ambrosia were releasing Frozen Custard in four varieties – Ambrosia Frozen Custard Vanilla, Vanilla with Strawberry Marble, Vanilla with Chocolate Swirl and Vanilla with Chunky Fudge. My excitement was pretty high, as was my fellow blogger compadres, and with an imminent release date the hunt was on!  Earlier this week Nutty 1T found the Ambrosia Frozen Custard Vanilla with Chunky Fudge at Sainsbury’s (shock horror) and you can read her marvellous review here. Off the back of this tip off I visited a larger Sainsbury’s and right there in the…

McVitie’s Digestives Nibbles – Milk Chocolate & Caramel

McVitie’s have released some new pouches of biscuity goodies and given they have my name on them I couldn’t not try them!! Enter McVitie’s Digestives Nibbles. They come in 4 varieties, Milk Chocolate, Caramel, Dark chocolate and Double Chocolate and are chocolatey biscuit forms of their ever popular Digestives, just bitesize. McVitie’s aim is for these to be the new evening sharing treat but to me biscuits are there for dunking or accompanying your tea and coffee, not so much an evening munchy treat, but by all means I am welcome to change. I picked up the Milk Chocolate and Caramel Nibbles,…

Tesco Red Velvet Cake Slices

I have had a real hankering for red velvet recently and whilst on a rare visit to Tesco I spied these Tesco Red Velvet Cake Slices and immediately had to pop them in the basket.  Red velvet cake is not very prominent and I do question why, it really is one of my favourite cakes in all the land. Some have tried to convert red velvet into other products like the dismal Fox’s Red Velvet Crunch Creams and the less than impressive M&S Red Velvet Tea Cakes so taking it back to its natural form, let’s see if Tesco can get it right.…

Rendles Bakewell Flapjack

The humble flapjack, so underrated yet so delicious. There are a million different ways, okay maybe not a million but close enough to enjoy a flapjack, for the oaty buttery rectangle is a blank canvas for so many different flavours to experiment with, and today’s is the Rendles Bakewell Flapjack.  I take no credit for finding these because it was none other than my little cupcake twin over at Reaching for Refreshment, who found these on her holibobs. Being the kind soul she is and the fact we are mildly obsessed with Bakewell, she sent some over and has continued to…
