Hooper’s Alcoholic Brews

It’s a long weekend Hurrah!!! We all know I am all for supporting British made products and today’s review is exactly that. The lovely Hooper’s offered to send me some of their ‘true British’ refreshments to review and before I knew it 12 bottles of their Alcoholic Brews arrived. So who are Hooper’s I hear you ask? Hooper’s came about after William Hooper spent the early 19th century globetrotting and was inspired to create a new range of refreshing alcoholic beverages; from there Hopper’s was born. Proud to be British, today Hooper’s has a range of 4% ABV traditionally British alcoholic brews available in…

Lindt Lindor Peanut Butter Truffles

I heart Lindt and in particular Lindt Lindor Truffles! On the rare occasion that we toddle off to Gunwharf Quays we end up spending far too much in the Lindt shop. We are literally like small children in a sweet shop. When I found out that across the pond had a Lindt Lindor Peanut Butter Truffle I made it my mission to find these. It took a while, but low and behold I have and couldn’t be more excited about today’s review.  I bought these Lindt Lindor Peanut Butter Truffles from Candy Hero for 50p each. An expensive way of buying, but what’s a…

For those that follow me on Instagram and Twitter you will have seen earlier today a little delivery had arrived from Candy Hero that held some exciting goodies. I couldn’t decide which to go with first so today’s review is a double whammy of peanut butter with Mrs Freshley’s Peanut Butter Swiss Rolls and Mrs Freshley’s Peanut Butter Wafers.  2 Pack – Peanut Butter Creme Filled Chocolate Cakes Can we take a moment to admire how pretty these look, I almost didn’t want to crack them open.. almost. I was pretty impressed that these were so together, not a crack in either…

Byron Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Milkshake

I have been to Byron a few times and did a review of their Camberley branch a while back which you can read here. Alongside their standard menu they have one special milkshake and as part of their One Feeds Two Programme, one special burger. 2 weeks ago an email dropped into my inbox with their new upcoming specials. The burger was here nor there for me but then I spied the Milkshake…… Byron Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Milkshake!! Actual squeals of excitement did occur! Byron isn’t exactly close to me but in the name of needing to try their Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup…

Sainsbury’s Salted Caramel Torte

Pudding, who doesn’t love a good pudding. One of the many wonders is that no matter how full you are, if a pudding presents itself you magical find room for a good wedge. The salted caramel trend seems to be phasing out but there are still a few products that slip onto the Supermarket shelves rather unnoticed, and today’s review is Sainsbury’s Salted Caramel Torte.  A sweet chocolate sponge with vanilla flavoured batter and a salted caramel glaze  Not quite what comes to mind when you think of a torte, but it did look ever so inviting. The chocolate cake isn’t…
