Snyder’s of Hanover Peanut Butter Pretzel Sandwiches

Whilst perusing the local farm shop I spied Snyder’s of Hanover Peanut Butter Pretzel Sandwiches, and like a moth to a flame I naturally had to buy them. At £1.99 they were a little pricey but it’s a price I’m willing to pay for a peanut butter goodie.  Golden with that classic pretzel sheen the pretzels were crunchy and a little salty. Sandwiched in-between each pretzel was a thin layer of salty peanut butter, not the fake pumped full of goodness knows what ingredients, but natural creamy peanut butter, and boy what a difference it makes. I am always a tad apprehensive…

Heston from Waitrose Cherry Bakewell Vodka

Following on from my review of the deliciously out there Heston Cherry Bakewell Hot Cross Buns, the ever fabulous Waitrose contacted me and offered to send their Heston Cherry Bakewell Vodka * to try. As you can imagine I was most excited and very thankful for their offer. This bottle is 70cl, 40% vol and costs £24.50. There are recommendations on mixing this to make a Cherry Bakewell Float or Ice Cream but frankly I’m opting for the alternative, straight from the fridge. A gorgeous deep red, it doesn’t smell of anything in particular but you get a sense of sticky…

Krispy Kreme Honey Bee and Love Bug Valentine’s

Valentine’s Day is fast approaching and yesterday saw the launch of the Krispy Kreme Valentine’s range – the Krispy Kreme Honey Bee and Love Bug. Now can we all just take a second to say how unbelievably cute these doughnuts are! Anything that is heart shaped gets me rather excited but to then make them into a cute little bug and bee with that little face, well I cannot help but smile and also feel kind of mean that I am about to eat them.  First up the Honey Bee which was a grand old £1.90. Don’t be fooled, the name is…

Muller Light Peanut and Caramel

New Year and a new Limited Edition Muller has hit the shelves in the name of Muller Light Peanut and Caramel. Surprisingly my local Sainsbury’s actually got these in pretty quick, usually we are least 6 months behind the times for things like this. I have gravitated away from Muller Light on the simple reasons that a) although they contain sugars and sweeteners they have become overly sweet these days, and b) they’re flavours have become boring.  When I saw Muller had decided to bring out the Peanut and Caramel I was a little excited as it is pretty out there for…

E Wedel Crème Brûlée Bar

Happy Friday, let’s do the Friday dance!!! Today we have crossed countries and scooted over to Poland with this E Wedel Crème Brûlée Bar. I have never seen or heard of this make but do know Lindt do an incredibly delicious Crème Brûlée Bar and given I picked this number up in Asda for a bargain price of 99p I thought heck lets give it a whirl.   Squares of choclate topped with a little dome and swirl pattern, the squares were considerably bigger than general chocolate bars. What is this bar, well I like the simplicity of the description – Dark Chocolate with Crème Brûlée…
