Pinch punch first of the month!!! The Maltesers Chocolate Orange Bunny seems to have taken the internet by storm and were hotly anticipated when their release was spoken about. Fast forward a few months and the Easter treats are on the shelves and these bunnies are now creeping into stores.
Each milk chocolate bunny has a crunchy and creamy orange flavoured Malteser centre and were on offer in Tesco for £1.20. You can also pick them up at B&M, Iceland and Amazon*.
Is it just me or are these bunnies chunkier than their reindeer friends? Normally the chocolate isn’t all that but this seemed creamier, and tasted nicer than normal. The smooth inner with crunchy Maltesers centre was pretty moreish, and at first the orange flavour is quite mute, but soon comes through after a few bites. It also helps if you can let it melt in the mouth a bit too. These seem much nicer than the normal Maltesers Bunny and Reindeer and one I’d reach for again.
On the whole the cute chunky Maltesers Chocolate Orange Bunny is pretty scrummy. They are my favourite of the Maltesers variety we have been given, however they could have pushed the orange further. Perhaps they could have put some orange flavouring in the milk chocolate ….
Have you tried these yet?
