McVities Cherry Bakewell Digestives

I don’t think the biscuit world has been this excited since, well…. forever! Why I hear you cry? Because McVities have given us not one, but THREE new flavours, and we aren’t talking just run of the mill. There’s McVities Cherry Bakewell Digestives, which I am reviewing today, Marmalade on Toast and Strawberries and Cream. So far they are exclusive to Morrisons and have been a bit tricky for people to track down all three flavours. I had similar issues and only managed to find two out of the three. As expected they aren’t on any offer and were £1.50…

Mr Kipling Chocolate Orange Whirls

It seems that Chocolate Orange is the flavour to be had! We have had the yummy Chocolate Orange Twirls, The Cadbury Orange Mousse Snowman and Hotel Chocolat Orange Chocolate Wafers to name a few. Now it is the turn for these Mr Kipling Chocolate Orange Whirls. These were in Tesco and on offer for £1.00. As always there are six in a box which sit in a plastic tray (tut tut). Each pack is £1.25 however you will no doubt be able to find them on offer in one of the supermarkets.   Apparently these new flavours are to entice  youngsters. They aren’t wrong in the…

Tesco Rhubarb and Custard Creams

If you haven’t seen the Tesco Rhubarb and Custard Creams where have you been? These sneaked on the shelves with no warning, but give a glimpse of summer flavours to come.  My mum is a self proclaimed Custard Cream Queen. What gives her this title? She eats an abundance every week and has pretty much worked her way around the Custard Cream scene in search of the tip top cream. Which FYI she has voted Tesco as the top dog here.  It was a priority mission that these were obtained asap and we picked these up a few weeks ago…

Bahlsen Crunchy Mint Choco Moments

We haven’t had a good biscuit in a while so when I saw Bahlsen Crunchy Mint Choco Moments I knew they were going straight into the basket. Bahlsen biscuits are one of my favourites, they’re a great size, fulfil the biscuit criteria and are always generous in the chocolate coating.  Currently in two varieties – Crunchy Hazelnut and Crunchy Mint, these are the newest additions to the Bahlsen family. So what makes theses different to the rest? Well Bahlsen have not only added a textured crunch to their usual biscuits, and they have been even more generous with their chocolate by…
