The M&S The Big Daddy Bar is a whopping hunk of a chocolate bar, some may even call it a whale of a bar. It is back for another year and this time it has gone viral and has been flying off the shelves.
At £6.60 you may think that is expensive but you are getting 300g of chunky milk and dark chocolate bar with caramel, peanut butter and roasted peanut pieces. Peanut butter lovers buckle up!
Each bar is housed in a cardboard packaging, no extra packaging inside which is good to see from an environmental perspective.
Look at those layers!
This bar is an utter delight. The chocolate, caramel, peanutty trio of layers is a great mix of textures. The thick squishy caramel is rich but not too sweet, the peanuts are chopped fine but chunky enough to stand up against the other layers. If you love peanut butter then this is the bar for you.
In essence this is like a Snickers bar but on steroids. If there was tiny area for improvement it would be the chocolate. Whilst it is nice, it is not best it could be and you just want it to be that little more luxurious, not only for the price but just to bring this chocolate bar to top tier level.
