Stop what you are doing! It has been far too long since a peanut butter review and I have got my hands on one hell of an exciting bar in the form of Cadbury Dairy Milk Pretzel Peanut Butter. Oh yes this gem has travelled across the ocean to feature in todays review and I could not be more excited about receiving it!
The bar was a tad broken, it didn’t quite make the journey but that did not deter me. From first whiff there was a pure chocolatey smell with a hint of peanuttyness to it. As you can see from this glorious looking bar there was an abundance of pretzel and peanut pieces which raised my hopes for it being one flavoursome bar. The squares were typical chunky Cadbury Dairy Milk size, the chocolate was milky, silky and oh so creamy, far creamier than here in the UK. The peanut butter element was authentic, rich, soft, smooth and out the jar kind of delicious. The idea of using chips rather than swirling of peanut butter was definitely the right choice here to give it that pizazz of flavour.

The flavour combination of peanut butter and chocolate was bang on, neither over powers one another but the depth of peanut butter certainly lingers the longest which I love. With the sweetness from the chocolate balanced with the nutty saltiness of peanut butter the bar isn’t at all sickly sweet. The pretzel pieces gave it that smidge more saltiness and a little more crunch factor which rounded off the bar nicely, and gave a little bite to the creamy chocolate.
If you hadn’t guessed already I bloomin love Dairy Milk Pretzel Peanut Butter bar, it really is a thing of beauty and scores top marks! The combination of milk chocolate to peanut butter to pretzel is glorious and I didn’t want the bar to end. It’s balanced well and packs a peanut buttery punch! I take my hat of to you Cadbury for this one! Now please bring this to the UK, or better yet UK Cadbury please start making some imaginative delicious bars like this.

Jazzyjesus! This sounds epic.. And that’s saying something! 😀 I think you’re going to have to do a mass important jobby on these.. What if it does come to the UK and then the shitty DM recipe is used and it ruins the thing!? I don’t know about you but I can’t deal with that prospect! Xx
