Tyrrells Summer Strawberries & Cream Poshcorn

Popcorn is something I bloomin love as you can see from my previous reviews of Propercorn’s tasty varieties. It is a blank canvas for all number of flavour combinations and as such I have been eagle eyed around the supermarkets ever since it was tweeted that Tyrrells had released Tyrrells Strawberries and Cream Poshcorn.  First and foremost isn’t this such a glorious flavour to release. Not only is it quintessentially British with its connotations of Wimbledon tennis with a packet to match, it is also another reminder that summer is coming, huzzah! I picked this 75g bag of Poshcorn up from Ocado for a relatively…

M&S Tropical Fruit, Nuts & Dark Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Cookies, who loves cookies? They really are a great all round snackeroo. We had the M&S Peanut Butter Cookies earlier this week and today is the turn of the M&S Tropical Fruit, Nuts & Dark Chocolate Chunk Cookies.  Again these are a new addition and part of their Spirit of Summer Range and with all their fruitiness they certainly emulate summer. Unfortunately they have the same inner plastic tray that the Peanut Butter Cookies have and I have the same thoughts and feelings over it. Not to dwell on the naffness of the tray lets get to the important part.. the…

M&S Peanut Butter Cookies

Life is better with peanut butter in it. Well it certainly is in my eyes. I popped into M&S at the weekend and I don’t know what happened but a lot of goodies from their new Spirit of Summer Range just happened to fall into my basket. Oooops. One of these goodies was of course M&S Peanut Butter Cookies.  I cannot deny I was unbelievably excited by these cookies. Not only is the packaging jazzy the fact we have a Peanut Butter Cookie on offer is huge news!  All butter cookies with ground roasted peanuts and roasted salted peanut pieces. …

Asda Lemon Bakewells and Toffee Bakewells

Bakewell Tarts are a humble classic that tick quite a few of the afternoon snack criteria. Traditionally with a jammy layer, frangipane and iced topping encased in a pastry outer, Asda have given the traditional a twist and made Lemon Bakewells and Toffee Bakewells. Being the intrigued beaver that I am and seeing if these really can be an alternative to the traditional Bakewell Tart, for £1 a pop I decided to take the plunge and give these a whirl.  Asda Lemon Bakewells Triple layered with lemon flavoured curd, citrus sponge and lemon fondant I love the look of these, they…

Chocolate Peanut Butter Quest Bar

On the grapevine Quest Bars are the top dog when it comes to protein bars and taste rather delicious in comparison to it’s fellow competition. I have been struggling with the snacks on the 90 Day SSS Plan, really there’s only so many nuts a gal can eat and given fruit is a twice a week number, so I decided to give these Quest Bars a go.  There are so many flavours and after whittling it down I ordered 5 bars from Dolphin Fitness (FYI considerably cheaper here and you can buy singles), and they arrived pretty darn quickly. Given my…
