Walkers Crispy Crackers Salt & Vinegar and Cheddar Cheese

Before Christmas there was a surge of crisps morphing into crackers and let’s face it they weren’t all that. Whilst pootling up the aisles of Sainsbury’s Walkers have now jumped on the crisp and cracker hybrid wagon and devised Walkers Crispy Crackers and Melty Crackers. They come in 4 flavours – Salt & Vinegar, Cheddar Cheese, Sweet Chilli and Sour Cream and Onion, today’s post is all about the Crispy Crackers.  First up Walkers Crispy Crackers Salt & Vinegar  Salt and Vinegar is hands down my favourite flavour in all the land. In fact the saltier and vinegary the better. Pouring…

Pringles Pigs in Blankets

I have searched high and low for these Pringles Pigs in Blankets but it wasn’t until I was on mission festive sarnie at Waitrose, that I spotted the last tube looking all lonely on the shelf. Being the kind person that I am I couldn’t let these Pringles be on their lonesome anymore, so in my basket they went. Pringles are a right of passage when it comes to the festivities in our house, so naturally it is only right that Pringles release a festive version. The packaging is slightly festive however I feel they could have gone a bit further than a…

Marks & Spencer Gastropub Beef Wellington

Today’s post is a savoury number. Inspired by dishes found on gastropub menus, Marks & Spencer’s Gastropub range is ever expanding. In our house we are a huge fan of their Runny Scotch Eggs and have subsequently been eyeing up their Gastropub Beef Wellington for some time. At £14.99 it’s on the expensive side for a ready meal, but on this occasion we are taking the plunge. Cooking couldn’t be simpler. Place on a baking tray, pop in the oven for 25 minutes, and hey presto it should be a beautiful medium / rare.  British beef fillet with rich mushroom and chicken liver duxelle, wrapped…

Good Full Stop .

In the interest of being healthy but still wanting to have a treat without the guilt, I have been trying out various ‘healthy’ bars. But can a fruit and nut bar be successfully disguised as banana bread, apple crumble or even various arrays of chocolate? I am rather dubious as to whether mulched up dates and cashews can really pull it off, and whether I would choose one over a choccie bar, but if they can then miracles do happen.  Recently over on Twitter Good Full Stop gave me a follow and I was more than intrigued by their bars. They very kindly…

Reese’s Peanut Butter Oreo Mini

Do you bite or do you twist and lick? Either way two of the nations favourite treats have been fused together to create the Reese’s Peanut Butter Oreo, and they are a must try! It is no secret in our house that I am a fully fledged peanut butter addict, and will buy pretty much anything that has PB in it for that very factor. Oreos are all the craze in America and the number of flavours are quite frankly insane. Double stuff, Golden, Red Velvet, Fudge covered, Strawberry Milkshake, Cookie Dough and even 100kcal Oreos; you name it they…
