Christmas: Reese’s Peanut Butter Tree

We couldn’t have a festive period without a Reese’s Peanut Butter Tree now could we. Usually I struggle to find the Reese’s limited edition holiday ones but this year the Reese’s Trees are in abundance in the stores near me.  This 34g tree cost a rounded £1.00 from the local newsagents, however these are readily available in all major supermarkets. Huzzah! Festive rich milk chocolate candy filled with the creamy peanut butter. There was some controversy over Reese’s shape ability but this year seems to be far better than the ridiculously shaped blobs of last Christmas. At first glance these…

Christmas: M&S Christmas Pudding Iced Buns

M&S have certainly come up with quite the festive range this year and there is so much to choose from that it is hard to pick just one. We had the most surprisingly good Gingerbread Chocolate Teacakes, the what the heck are these Winter Berries & Prosecco Crisps, and today it is the turn of the M&S Christmas Pudding Iced Buns.  Despite being tucked away on the bottom shelves these immediately caught my eye. Oh so festive looking, M&S have given the humble iced bun a christmassy twist. The M&S christmas range has got some quite pricey numbers but these…

Christmas: Graze Mince Pie Flapjack

I have always said that I wish Graze wasn’t just confined to the postie packages. Our prayers were answered as a selection of Graze products can now be found in pretty much every supermarket and varying foodie shops. Aside from Belgian Speculoos which is my all time favourite, the flapjacks are one of their tastiest offerings, (FYI I am still mourning the loss of the breads all those years ago). Today’s review is as festive as can be with the Graze Mince Pie Flapjack. Being sold separately it gives way to a far more festive outer packaging which I love! Inside…

Christmas: Lindt Lindor Orange

If you don’t know already Lindt Lindor are heavenly balls of chocolatey goodness. Fact. I must admit I am still mourning the loss of the Lindor Peanut Butter but there are still plenty of other irresistible flavours to choose from. One of the newest residents in the flavour department is the Lindt Lindor Orange.  Where would we be without chocolate orange at christmas? Terry’s certainly put it on the map but Lindt are here to give it a run for its money. This limited edition flavour is available in 200g and averages at around £4.00 a box.  Milk chocolate truffles with a smooth…

Christmas: Waitrose Gingerbread Muffin

It’s Christmas week. Who is excited? This Christmas seems to be the year of the gingerbread. It’s everywhere and I love it! We’ve had M&S Gingerbread Teacakes and Viennese Creams, Butterkist Gingerbread Popcorn, Gingerbread Doughnuts, Gingerbread Porridge and now it is the turn of the Waitrose Gingerbread muffin.   This beast of a muffin is from the Waitrose bakery area and in its bright red wrapper this muffin cost £1.00 to take away, and £1.20 to eat in. Why it should cost an extra 20p for a plate and taking a seat I do not know.  Gingerbread muffin with crystallised ginger, stem ginger…
