Pancakes, pancakes, and more pancakes. Why is it that we only go crazy about pancakes once a year and it takes a designated day to do so? Every year I say “god I love pancakes I’m going to make these more often”, then low and behold it’s Shrove Tuesday all over again. Nonetheless today is in homage for the impending day, (28th Feb FYI) and aside from your traditional lemon and sugar here are 11 irresistible pancakes just in time for Pancake Day.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Pancakes
Blueberry, Banana & Cinnamon Pancakes – Gluten Free, Vegan & Paleo
Bacon, Cheddar & Spring Onion Pancakes
Harry Potter Butterbeer Pancakes
Creamy Chicken and Mushroom Crispy Pancakes
It is safe to say I now want all these pancakes! What is your favourite pancake concoction?

Yay you included gluten free ones! THE Hand is most happy! The rainbow ones look amazing..

Of course Kevvie. There are so many delicious gluten free pancake recipes out there it was hard to choose. I hope The Hand is partaking in pancake day!! xx
It’s got to be banana & Nutella with crepes and maple syrup & bacon with Scotch/American pancakes!
I saw someone do pineapple upside down pancakes, where the ring on the pineapple was set into the pancake (if that makes sense). Looked like an excellent idea!

That sounds glorious Sarah! I am absolutely googling the pineapple upside down one!
Savoury pancakes unnerve me.. A bit like savoury scones actually I think I might do crepe pancakes this year opposed to big old fat American style ones! Controversial? Xx

I have always wanted to try a savoury pancake I cant help but think it is a bit like a folded omelette. Oooo living on the edge, although we always do crepes here rather than thick and fluffy American style ones, maybe we should role reverse! xx
Oo really? You enjoy a savoury scone though so the transition might not be quite as extreme.. Give it a whuuuurl Peanut – If it is too omlette-y, it can just be Omelette Day opposed to Pancake Day! Hehe :D. We use to have the crepe ones as kids but since discovering the joy of the fluffsy fat kind (Not THE Fluffsy, although I could eat her up), we’ve had those for at least the past 5 years.. Maybe now is the time for change! I shall report back! Love you! xx
