New desserts have literally exploded onto the autumn scenes and we are all here for it. The one I really was the most eager to try was the M&S Caramelised Biscuit Sticky Buns.
Available in stores these 4 soft buns are filled with a spiced cinnamon paste, with a lightly spiced caramel sauce and are topped with caramelised spiced biscuits pieces and a sweet dusting. Surely it’s dessert heaven in a pot!
Simple to bake in the oven, these take only 12 minutes before you have molten gooey caramel goodness.
The dough is light and fluffy and baked to perfection. There is no fear that there will not be enough sauce to go around, because not only does it soak a little into those perfect buns, there’s plenty left over to top your bun with.
If I am being picky then I would like more spiced and I want more biscuity pieces. I mean with all that caramel of course this dessert is incredibly sweet and it needs that cinnamon spice to help cut through it. Nonetheless I would absolutely buy this M&S Caramelised Biscuit Sticky Buns again.
