Droga Peanut Butter Bots

Of course it is common knowledge in my family and here on the blog that I have an obsession with peanut butter, and I eat so much of the stuff that I am probably part peanut butter by now! As part of my delightful foodie goodie bag following my Dad coming back from abroad, inside were these Droga Peanut Butter Bots. The box alone made these incredibly exciting and I couldn’t wait to get stuck in.  If like me you have never heard of Droga, who are they and what do they do? Ever since then it would appear that there has been a Snyder’s of Hanover explosion because everywhere I go I keep finding them, maybe it’s a sign so not one to deny such things I opted for these Snyder’s of Hanover Salted Caramel Pretzel Pieces.  Mixing the sweet with the savoury, Snyder’s have taken the humble savoury sourdough pretzel pieces and flavoured them with buttery salted caramel and packaged them in a handy handbag size.  Buttery caramel is accented with flecks of salt on…

Cadbury Flake Celebration Cake

The Cadbury Flake Celebration cake is back! I had its predecessor a few years ago and it was delicious and I certainly couldn’t believe that they discontinued it there after. Fear not though it’s back on the shelves and promises to be an even more delicious sponge. Given we had a birthday at the weekend it was only fitting that we give this new version a go, and plus I was buying the cake so it was my choice!  Chocolate sponge layered with chocolate flavour creme and a chocolate flavoured syrup, covered with milk chocolate and decorated with milk chocolate flake…
