McVitie’s Jaffa Cakes Nibbles

The McVitie’s nibbles family has grown and frankly abandoned the biscuit and gone for the cake. Oooops yes the cake bomb has dropped. Is a Jaffa Cake a cake or a biscuit who knows and who cares at this point, because all focus is on the Jaffa Cakes Nibbles. If you think these are going to be little morsels then think again because these are more like beastie bites in comparison to the Digestive and Hobnob counterparts. Nonetheless they are still bite-sized chocolatey balls with a sponge and orange jam centre, and coated in smooth milk and dark chocolate.  Currently on offer these were a…

Itsu Sweet Chocolate and Banana Dessert Dumplings

After a little break I am back and talking desserts. Nestled in the frozen aisle are these Itsu Sweet Chocolate and Banana Dessert Dumplings *. Itsu aren’t the first to twist their classic savoury dishes into a sweet dessert, but they’re certainly the first I’ve tried. The picture alone makes me want to dive right in, and can only hope they turn out as good as they look.  Coming in at £3.50 a pop, each box contains 15 dessert dumplings. These can be found in frozen aisles at  Tesco, Waitrose and Ocado. They come in three flavours, Chocolate & Banana, Caramelised Apple…

As you can imagine Pip & Nut Chocolate Orange Almond Butter * is a limited edition pot and combines roasted almonds, rich cacao and zesty…

Peanut Butter Rolos

Just when you thought a Rolo was always going to be a Rolo, Nestlé Canada have done something that us peanut butter addicts are joyful about. Combining the taste of peanut butter and creamy milk chocolate, Peanut Butter Rolos have been born.  Stumbling across these was a pure fluke and I hadn’t a clue of their existence. I found these on American Fizz for a slightly eye watering price of £4.99 for a 170g bag, but as you can see I still bought them! In essence they haven’t lost the Rolo factor and are still in the classic shape and spit…
