Joe Browns Autumn Winter Style

Joe Browns Autumn Winter Style

New season new style. Autumn is definitely my favourite season, the leaves are turning, the nights drawing in, the new season styles are filling the glossy magazines, and not to mention it’s my birthday!

The Fun Fair at Joe Browns has arrived and it is one to get excited about. When surveying what was on offer, my focus was firmly on everyday wear that was casual, yet smart enough to wear in the office. So here are my style picks.

Kick starting things is the Funky Funtime Fur Collar Jacket. I spied this in their preview email and loved it from the outset. Right on point, this fitted check jacket with plush faux fur collar is a sure winner to keep you toasty and warm. Strictly Limited Edition, this is one to snap up early before you luck out, and no-one wants to leave the Fun Fair empty handed!

I heart the chunky knit. Despite the array of cardigans I have I just cannot resist. If I were to ever buy just one item come the new season, this would be it. Joe Browns have got two that caught my eye. The Snuggle Knit Cardigan and the Easy Wear Cardigan. Aside from the enticing titles, the navy and burgundy make them the perfect staple to mix and match with other outfits; fingers crossed they introduce some additional colours.

From chunky knit to oversized scarf, this is my next go to. I’ll be honest I have actually be banned form buying any new scarves, the last scarf count was at a grand total of 28… but one more can’t hurt can it! I have been looking high and low for a tartan check style scarf, and this is perfect. Oversized and chunky, perfect to snuggle in, particularly with those cold nights that will soon be on the horizon.

The penultimate is the jeans. I practically live in jeans and if you get the fit right you feel a million dollars. Ripped and distressed jeans are going strong into Autumn/Winter and I am glad to see there aren’t gaping holes in these Side Stitch Detail Jeans. I really do not understand why you buy a pair of jeans with half the leg hanging off? Smart and casual all in one, with the nice addition of the turn up making these my favourite jeans by far.

Lastly the boots. Boots are definitely a must. For those who say short girls can’t wear over the knee boots  I disagree. Double buckle and elasticated back panel to ensure no saggy boot syndrome, these over the knee boots have a comfortable 4cm heel, which is perfect given most I have seen are skyscraper high, or completely flat.  A must try – short girls go forth and wear the over the knee boot!

Joe Browns have defiantly triumphed with their new collection, get yourself over to their Fun Fair here to see for yourself.

As ever please leave your comments, thoughts and suggestions on what is on your Autumn Winter wish list, and what your thoughts are of Joe Browns new collection; I’d love to hear from you.

I love that scarf! I got my friend one that is almost identical to that, for Christmas last year and I know she’s worn it to death.. That might just be the perfect replacement!
