Weight Watchers Mini Custard Cream Bites

Weight Watchers regularly release a few new products and I had a mini jump for joy when I saw these Weight Watchers Mini Custard Cream Bites. Despite the use of mini, because let’s face it mini snacks leave you wanting more, I still had to throw these in my basket. I used to eat custard creams and bourbons for that matter like they were going out of fashion. Nowadays I prefer Hobnobs with my cuppa but every now and again a custard cream will slip on in. Weight Watchers have harnessed this humble cream filled biscuit to give it a…

McVitie’s Hobnobs Milk Chocolate Nibbles

Finally I have these McVitie’s Hobnobs Milk Chocolate Nibbles in my possession, well actually it was last week but hey-ho. I have been saying ever since the original McVitie’s Digestives versions that I hope they bring out a Hobnob version and low and behold almost a year later dreams do become a reality.  The Nibbles range has certainly been a winner and, rightly so, McVitie’s have decided the time is right to expand the range and I couldn’t agree more. This little 120g packet was on offer for £1.00 in Tesco and is currently available in just the milk chocolate flavour.…

Tesco Strawberry Pepper Dark Chocolate and Toffee Nut Latte Popcorn

Popcorn, it’s a glorious thing, do we all agree? I have tried my fair share and there are an infinite amount of flavour combinations to keep us all going. New on the indulgent bandwagon is Tesco Strawberry Pepper Dark Chocolate and Toffee Nut Latte Popcorn.  Both 170g packets cost £1.79 a piece, a very reasonable price for the more snazzier types of popcorn. Sitting alongside these two Tesco Finest popcorns are Fiery Ginger, Peppermint Cream, and Mango & Coconut, which certainly for Tesco, pushes popcorn to new realms.   Toffee coated popcorn with Strawberry, Black Pepper and Belgian Dark Chocolate Glossy and…

Reese’s Rounds

Branching out from the peanut butter cups Hershey’s has stepped foot into new realms with Reese’s Rounds. I have seen mixed feelings about these but that isn’t going to stop me from trying them myself.  I found this 8 pack of chocolate covered biscuits in Waitrose for an okay price of £1.50. The biscuits sat in a segregated black tray which certainly reduced the risk of any unnecessary breakages. Huzzah.  Crunchy biscuits with a peanut butter filling and covered in milk chocolate. Per biscuit: 96 kcal, 3.2g sat fat, 5.2g sugar, 2g protein.  These were certainly thick round biscuits. The biscuit itself…

Christmas: M&S Winter Berries and Prosecco Crisps

M&S are always ones to push the boundaries and make us question whether sweet can be made into salty and if drinks can be made into food. Well in this case we have both. Enter M&S Winter Berries and Prosecco crisps. Okay despite my better judgement I was swayed by sheer curiosity and edible gold stars. There has been quite the trend with not so average crisps so why not make fruity ones? Visually these were oh so exciting. With the pink berry hue and the shimmery gold stars, these were delightfully festive and would sit comfortably on the party table.  Per…
