Maltesers Chocolate Orange Bunny

Pinch punch first of the month!!! The Maltesers Chocolate Orange Bunny seems to have taken the internet by storm and were hotly anticipated when their release was spoken about. Fast forward a few months and the Easter treats are on the shelves and these bunnies are now creeping into stores. Each milk chocolate bunny has a crunchy and creamy orange flavoured Malteser centre and were on offer in Tesco for £1.20. You can also pick them up at B&M, Iceland and Amazon*. Is it just me or are these bunnies chunkier than their reindeer friends? Normally the chocolate isn’t all that…

HECK Guy Porks Sausages Limited Edition *

An autumn banger with a toffee apple twist, that’s what we have here with HECK Guy Porks. The name alone fantastic, and the packaging is apt. They were so popular last year that HECK have brought them back again this year, and they kindly gifted me some to try.  Using lean British pork, diced apple and a hint of black treacle, they too are also gluten and dairy-free. This newbie is now available exclusively in Sainsbury’s and their online web shop for this month only, and cost £3.00 a pack.  Initially the plan was to have them with mash and…

Getting a…

Hotel Chocolat Cinnamon Buns Selector

It’s snowing Christmas in Hotel Chocolat. Amongst the chocolate boxes, hampers, jolly penguins and snowmen, there’s also the Hotel Chocolat Cinnamon Buns Selector. This isn’t actually a newbie, but is one that has been around before, and is back once more.  Last year I tried the Treacle Tart Selectors, which were nice but dubious you could actually tell what they were in a blind taste test. This year I am hoping the Cinnamon Bun can do a little better.  If you aren’t familiar the Selector’s come in at £3.95 a pop or 3 for £10. They are suitable for vegetarians…

Mr Kipling Chocolate Orange Whirls

It seems that Chocolate Orange is the flavour to be had! We have had the yummy Chocolate Orange Twirls, The Cadbury Orange Mousse Snowman and Hotel Chocolat Orange Chocolate Wafers to name a few. Now it is the turn for these Mr Kipling Chocolate Orange Whirls. These were in Tesco and on offer for £1.00. As always there are six in a box which sit in a plastic tray (tut tut). Upon opening the whirls were a wee bit mismatch, with most of the filling splodged out of one side.  The Mr Kipling Chocolate Orange Whirls sit amongst Iced Top…
