Carte D’or Cinnamon Biscuit

Carte D’or is our household’s favourite everyday ice cream, not that we eat it everyday, albeit given the chance I am sure that we would. I am unsure if Carte D’or Cinnamon Biscuit is a newbie, however it is one that I have only just come across.   The ice cream was a light shade of caramel. The one thing that Carte D’or trumps every other ice cream company at is the fact you can scoop the ice cream out immediately after you get it out the freezer. Perfect for those, like me, who are impatient and don’t want to wait 10 minutes to…

Sainsbury’s Gingerbread Ice Cream

Happy Christmas Eve Everyone!! What better way to mark the day before christmas than with Sainsbury’s Gingerbread Ice Cream. I have been like a woman possessed searching for this tub; because frankly Gingerbread Ice Cream is an ice cream I want to get on board with.  I have never really seen Gingerbread as solely a festive foodie flavour and my love for Jamaican Ginger Cake is something I feed throughout the year. Now if Sainsbury’s can morph that into an ice cream, just like Mr Kipling did with their Viennese Whirls, well we will have one happy Nibs ‘n’ Scribs…

Ben and Jerry’s Cinnamon Buns

Today is a Birthday post – Happy Birthday to Me! What better way was there to start my Birthday weekend, it is never just a one day affair for me, than to find the elusive Ben & Jerry’s Cinnamon Buns Ice Cream. I was almost at the verge of giving up when I spied this tub in Morrisons, at which I did do a little happy dance with jazz hands.  Cinnamon Buns when done right are just glorious doughy delights that are oh so moreish. I have been eager to try this one from the very moment of hearing of the 2…

Ben & Jerry’s Pumpkin Cheesecake

I have come back from China to find not one, but two new Ben & Jerry’s Flavours –  Ben & Jerry’s Pumpkin Cheesecake and Cinnamon Buns. Despite my disliking of our local Tesco I happened to be passing and popped in to purchase these newbies. Thankfully the trip wasn’t completely wasted like normal as they at least had the Pumpkin Cheesecake one. First off we had the Krispy Kreme Cheesecake Doughnuts and now it has migrated over to the world of ice cream. Ben & Jerry’s have concocted the Ben & Jerry’s Pumpkin Cheesecake ice cream with a cookie swirl, which sounds…

Sainsbury’s Salted Peanut and Caramel Ice Cream

The weather is hotting up which means hello ice cream. Previously I reviewed Ben & Jerry’s Utter Peanut Butter Cookie Core which I loved, but am keen to try a Supermarket own one; insert Sainsbury’s Salted Peanut and Caramel Ice Cream.  Jazzy flavour combinations are now a firm part of Supermarket own brand ranges, but can they match or beat the big guns like Ben & Jerry’s or Haagen-Daz? Sainsbury’s Salted Peanut and Caramel ice cream sits alongside their Chocolate Brownie, Cookie Dough and Toffee Honeycomb tubs, but what attracted me to try this? Peanut Butter of course! It’s great to see that…
