Oreo Cinnamon Bun

Ever since the Oreo Red Velvet I have been craving and searching high and low for the Oreo Cinnamon Bun. Cinnamon Bun is one of the simplest but tastiest flavours when done right, and I love nothing more than a cinnamon bun with a nice cup of tea, and I am hoping and praying that these live up to my expectation.  Thankfully on my last trip to the ever exciting Longacres, luck was on my side as sitting on the shelf on their lonesome was the last packet of Oreo Cinnamon Bun. I can only assume it was holding out for…

Nature Valley Crunchy Peanut Butter

Nature Valley always used to be my go to snacking and I was so envious of the US who seemingly had an abundance of peanut butter versions. Envious no more as on our shelves we finally have the Nature Valley Crunchy Peanut Butter Bars. Huzzah.  There is this whoohaa over cereal bars being complete trash for you, yes that maybe the case some are worse than others, but it’s all about balance. I find these far more useful to fling in the handbag for when you are on the go and in need of some food rather than just for breakfast. Per…

Goupie Original and Cherry & Almond

Having never come across Goupie or even heard of them you, you could say I am a Goupie virgin. A few weeks ago these geometric style printed boxes came through my door after the lovely Grace from Goupie kindly sent me some to try.  Based on a genuine family recipe there are plenty of flavours on offer from your standard Orange, Mint, Ginger and Hazelnut, to your more eccentric Dark or White Chocolate Lavender and Cardamon and White Chocolate. I for one chose two of their other flavours – Original*, because nothing beats the natural form, and Cherry & Almond*, because my…

Cadbury Dairy Milk Black Forest

A good bar of chocolate is certainly one of my weaknesses and today is another example of UK Dairy Milk not being up to scratch. You may recall the Tropical Cadbury from New Zealand that I reviewed a little while back, and now we have another classic from both New Zealand and Australia, Cadbury Dairy Milk Black Forest.  Also available in a 200g slab this little 45g bar cost me a cheerful £1.80. I do love a flavoured chocolate bar and Black Forest does excite me a little. Opening up the packet led to a sweet cherry smell filling the air…

KitKat Peanut Butter Bites

This month has seen it’s fair share of new peanut butter products which means so far this is the best month ever! First off we had the scrumptious Kellogg’s Peanut Butter Clusters, then the questionable Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo Peanut Butter and now it is Nestle’s turn with KitKat Peanut Butter Bites. When the miniature bites came about I did not opt to try the KitKat original as in my eyes you may as well just eat a Kit Kat, that said peanut butter is a complete game changer.  You’ll recall that we already have the Peanut Butter KitKat Chunky…
