Proper Nutty Smunchy Peanut Butter

We are going back to peanut butter basics today. Put aside the flavoured peanut butter items for today because we have it in it’s simplest form, good old fashion natural peanut butter from Proper Nutty.  I came across Proper Nutty on Twitter a while back and whilst perusing Country Market I was most surprised to see it sitting on the shelves. Made in Dewsbury this little team slow roast peanuts in small batches, grind them to the perfect texture, either add a pinch of salt or leave it be, and voilà Yorkshire’s only artisan peanut butter.  Anything named smunchy has both my attention…

Magnum Double Peanut Butter Bar

We all know that Magnum do a Peanut Butter Ice Cream lolly, but did you know that they also do the Magnum Double Peanut Butter Chocolate Bar? Personally I hadn’t a clue and I found this little gem tucked away in Home Bargains.  I have never had a Magnum chocolate bar and to be honest I don’t really care for their ice cream lolly either so the only thing this chocolate bar had going for it was the promise of peanut butter. Stubby in appearance, for a mere 50p it wasn’t too badly priced.  Milk chocolate bar with peanuts and a soft…
