Hotel Chocolat Caramalised Banana Selector

Perfecting a banana flavour isn’t the easiest of things and Hotel Chocolate have had a pretty good go at achieving banana-esque chocolates. There’s been the delicious Banana Bread and not to mention the Banoffee Pie (review here). However can these Hotel Chocolat Caramalised Banana selectors make it 3 in a row?  With a trio of ‘lavish textures’ this selector boasts layers of caramel, banana white ganache and while almond praline, all encased in 40% milk chocolate and decorated with dark chocolate.  As ever the selectors are £3.95 a pop or  3 for £10. Mr Kipling Chocolate Orange Whirls

It seems that Chocolate Orange is the flavour to be had! We have had the yummy Chocolate Orange Twirls, The Cadbury Orange Mousse Snowman and Hotel Chocolat Orange Chocolate Wafers to name a few. Maybe they were munching on a yogurt coated cranberry and thought you know what Skittles would be great with some yoghurt!  As you can see it is a bit of a pick ‘n’ mix situation, as this thick coating is concealing the colour underneath. These are another Poundland find but they can also be found at Asda and Tesco. Sadly I’ve not seen these online…

English Cheesecake Company Lotus Biscoff

When it comes to dessert cheesecake comes way way way down the list. In fact it would rarely make the cut, I know what sorcery is this. Sorry I am more of a crumble or ice cream kind of gal. That being said this English Cheesecake Company Lotus Biscoff cheesecake literally had me at biscoff. Although this was from Waitrose you can buy bigger ones from their website, which includes a Vegan version. This version cost £5.00, serves 6 and is suitable for vegetarians. It isn’t new on the shelves and I think has been around for a while.  ‘Rich…
