After a hankering for a bag of Monster Munch I stumbled across these Monster Munch Pickled Onion Peanuts by chance. There is a whole range of new flavoured coated nuts ranging from Wotsits, McCoys, Sensations and Walkers.
This pack was £2.75 for 160g and I found them in Sainsbury’s, although they are stocked in other supermarkets and on Amazon Fresh *.
As soon as you open the bag, you’re hit with that unmistakable Monster Munch smell that you just want to tuck right into. The flavour itself isn’t quite as bold as I was expecting. It’s a bit more muted than the smell suggests, but the pickled onion taste does come through and lingers after each bite. It was definitely the right choice to pair these with peanuts, and I definitely think they could turn the seasoning up a notch to pack more of a punch.
That said these Monster Munch Pickled Onion Peanuts are seriously moreish and for that price I would buy them again.
