Halloween Spooktacular: M&S Witches Fingers & Halloween Horrors

Halloween is fast approaching and thankfully the shops have swung head first into the spooky spirit and are showcasing all things Halloween. M&S are the kings when it comes halloween themed foods. They seem to be one of the brands that actually thinks about it, rather than just renaming a product to sound spooky. So as part of my M&S bundle* I received I was happy to see they had included the M&S Witches Fingers and the mini bag of Halloween Horrors Chocolate.  M&S Witches Fingers*: All butter (18%) biscuits decorated with a vanilla flavoured fondant Perfect for those halloween parties,…

Monster Munchies: Mr Kipling Chocolate & Slime Slices

Mr Kipling is the king of cake bars and treats so it is only fair that he has joined in on the ghost and ghouls of Halloween and given us Mr Kipling Chocolate & Slime slices. I certainly love a cheeky Mr Kipling snack so naturally this was going to be on the agenda.  With a suitably Halloweenesque box, each is packed with 3 sealed trays each containing two cake slices. Monster Munchies: Cadbury Screme Egg Biscuits

Before Mondelez International decided to be plonkers and change the Creme Egg recipe, yes Mondelez we have noticed and we hate you for it, I used to love the Creme Egg biscuits and Creme Eggs for that matter. Since that change I didn’t bother buying any last year however as we are on a Halloween Monster Munchies mission today we have the limited edition Cadbury Screme Egg Biscuits. Will these be a trick or a treat?  I take no credit for these at it was the Daddio who spotted these in the local corner shop and bought them for me…

Christmas seems to be infiltrating our shelves already but I say get out the way Christmas because Halloween is coming to town! What better way to kick off the Halloween season than with candy corn, but not just your average joe candy corn but Brach’s Peanut Butter Candy Corn.  Candy corn isn’t so much of an OMG over here but in the US it seems to be everywhere come the spooky holiday. I spied these online and let’s face it I couldn’t not pass on the opportunity to have peanut butter candy corn now could I?  For a whopping 255g…

Monster Munchies: Krispy Kreme Vintage Pumpkin Spiced

What better way to kick off the start of the Monster Munchies Halloween Series on the blog than with the new Krispy Kreme Vintage Pumpkin Spiced. This doughnut marks the end of the comeback doughnuts and like all the others were, it is available for the next two weeks.  For those regular readers you will know I have been less than impressed. The Vintage Glazed Kreme was dull, the Powdered Blueberry had the most delicious fruity filling but was encased in undercooked dough and the Cruller well what the heck was that? I think we are all rooting for this Krispy Kreme Vintage Pumpkin…
