Ed’s Easy Diner Reese’s Milkshake

It’s peanut butter time, is there ever a more glorious time? I think not. I have been on the edge of my seat to try Ed’s Easy Diner Reese’s Milkshake ever since I got the email informing me of their new arrival. Now this isn’t by any means a new innovation, you may remember me reviewing Byron’s  Reese’s Milkshake which was one hell of a milkshake that I still dream about. But can Ed’s trump Byrons, that is the question.  Lucky for me Ed’s Diner is pretty close to me so it wasn’t too much of a trek to go and get. I…

Eating Out at The Onslow Arms

Is it just me or is there a lack of decent pubs around nowadays? Everywhere is filled with chained restaurants with most just churning out lack lustre food with no heart and soul and charging an arm and a leg for it. We as a family have been on the lookout for a new place to eat and have heard some great things about The Onslow Arms in Clandon and decided on a whim that Friday night was the night to give it a go.  The pub itself has heaps of character with traditional features, exposed beams and a huge fireplace. Byron Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Milkshake

I have been to Byron a few times and did a review of their Camberley branch a while back which you can read here. Alongside their standard menu they have one special milkshake and as part of their One Feeds Two Programme, one special burger. 2 weeks ago an email dropped into my inbox with their new upcoming specials. The burger was here nor there for me but then I spied the Milkshake…… Byron Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Milkshake!! Actual squeals of excitement did occur! Byron isn’t exactly close to me but in the name of needing to try their Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup…

Byron Proper Hamburgers Camberley

We love a burger in our family, 9 times out of 10 it’s our go to on a menu. When you hit the nail on the head with a burger there is nothing tastier! Having not been to a Byron before we decided to have a pitstop and check it out.  Greeted by a friendly waitress we were quickly seated and given the lowdown on Byron. The menu is simple, covering your Classic to Cheese, to B-Rex and Chilli Queen. If beef isn’t your thing there’s a chicken, mushroom or bean burger on offer. No bun, no problem you can go skinny…

Eating Out at Cau Guildford

Cau restaurant sits firmly at the top of Guildford High Street, and is a breath of fresh air to the umpteen amount of Italian restaurants that surrounds it. It’s difficult to imagine Buenos Aires in Guildford but they are certainly giving it a good go. We visited Cau when it first opened way back when, and after a few visits it had lost its sparkle. Fast forward a year or so, and with a newer menu, we decided to give it another whirl.  With a fun vibrant modern decor, and background tunes with a latin beat that you just can’t help…
