McVities Cherry Bakewell Digestives

I don’t think the biscuit world has been this excited since, well…. forever! Why I hear you cry? Because McVities have given us not one, but THREE new flavours, and we aren’t talking just run of the mill. There’s McVities Cherry Bakewell Digestives, which I am reviewing today, Marmalade on Toast and Strawberries and Cream. So far they are exclusive to Morrisons and have been a bit tricky for people to track down all three flavours. I had similar issues and only managed to find two out of the three. As expected they aren’t on any offer and were £1.50…

Cherry Bakewell Muller Light Yoghurt

No longer wrapped in the constraints of a multipack that was exclusive to Iceland, Cherry Bakewell Muller Light is now available as a standalone number. I haven’t had a Muller Light yoghurt in what feels like forever, to be honest I really went off them and haven’t had the desire to pick one up since. That said I do love cherry bakewell so naturally there was no passing on this, I am just hoping that they can nail the flavour.  Available in all major supermarkets for a limited time only I do wonder why they have decided to release this one.…

Shredded Wheat Cherry Bakewell

If you are a regular reader you will know I have a particular love for Cherry Bakewell so whilst perusing Ocado for some new cereal I came across Shredded Wheat Cherry Bakewell and got a wee bit giddy. Given my sheer disappointment over Waitrose’s Cherry Bakewell Granola I am hoping that Nestle can pull it out the bag here and deliver.   £2.49 for a 430g box isn’t too shabby. This Cherry Bakewell cereal is high in fibre and whole grain, has no artificial colours or flavours and is suitable for vegetarians. If you have allergies then beware as aside from…

Müller Corner British Classics

You would be right to think that this is a summer edition however unless I have been blind as a bat these are new to the yoghurt corner, in my Supermarket anyway. Inspired by British desserts Müller Corner British Classics have given us Cherry Bakewell and Eton Mess style yoghurts.  A six pack costs £3.00 and I have seen these in both Sainsbury’s and on Ocado. Made from British milk these are free from artificial flavours, colourings and preservatives, and are suitable for vegetarians.  Cherry Bakewell is certainly becoming more of ‘a thing’. We have had the Cherry Bakewell Scones, Cherry Bakewell…

Waitrose Cherry Bakewell Scones

Put down your fruity, cheesey or plain scones because things have just got interesting. Waitrose Cherry Bakewell Scones have sneaked onto the shelves, almost as silent as the Heston’s Cherry Bakewell Hot Cross Buns they did back in Easter, but there is no hiding them from me.  The very fact the quintessentially British afternoon tea staple has been given a cherry bakewell make over is both daring yet genius. For those longstanding blog readers (you’re amazing thank you!) you will recall I raved about the Cherry Bakewell Hot Cross Buns and I am hoping these scones are on par.  For 4…
