Gnaw Cherry Bomb & Banoffee Pie

Whilst on a dreaded trip to a Garden Centre I first came across Gnaw chocolate, the Peanut Butter bar to be precise. Aside from this I haven’t come across Gnaw until a little trip to Suffolk. Handcrafted in Gnawfolk, see what they did there, Gnaw use all natural ingredients and definitely no nasties. Running away with their imagination, there are a variety of chocolate bars, Hot Choc shots, Nibbles and Chompers on offer. The most difficult part is choosing which ones to buy.  Banoffee Pie £2.99: Caramel milk flavoured chocolate topped with banana, Gnaw have been creative with the classic British…

Eating Out at The Squirrel Inn Hurtmore

The Squirrel Inn is situated just off the A3 in the village of Hurtmore and boasts a variety of locally sourced food, and the perfect place for a family gathering.  A stark comparison to the week we have had, it was a lovely sunny Saturday evening, and all the more reason to dine alfresco. The Mistry Barbecue

Put your hands up if you love a barbecue. If your hand is not up, why not!! It is a fact that we love a barbecue. It has indeed been known for our family to have 4 in one week – Yes that probably constitutes borderline barbecue addicts. Last Saturday proved to be the perfect day for The Mistry barbecue. This annual shindig proves to be a feast full of food, and this year was just that.  For starters – From piled high bruschetta, to pretzels, nachos and crudités to dunk in an array of homemade dips – tzatziki, guacomole, aubergine and coriander, and a…

Krispy Kreme Reese’s Peanut Butter Crunch

It was a hallelujah moment when Krispy Kreme introduced peanut butter to their doughnuts, and in actual fact it was this along with their Lotus Biscoff doughnut that made me fall a little in love with Krispy Kreme. Like others I mourned the loss of the Reese’s Peanut Butter Doughnut shell, but fear not, with 76% of the vote it’s back, and it has bought a new doughnutty friend. Say hello to Krispy Kreme Reese’s Peanut Butter Crunch doughnut!  Krispy Kreme have taken their classic ring doughnut and have coated it in sticky Reese’s peanut butter icing, and topped it with chocolate…

The Grown Up Chocolate Company Lovely Fruity Nutty Crunchy

The first I had heard of The Grown Up Chocolate Company was when the super-dooper, lovely bubbly Cupcake Snack Warrior over at Reaching for Refreshment sent me one within a stash of goodies. These bars are not for little monsters and luckily I don’t come under that category! So what do I have here? The Grown Up Chocolate Company Lovely Fruity Nutty Crunchy Bar* is what I have. I challenge someone to say that 10 times over! First off I am a big fan for UK made products, and I am pleased too see these bars are ‘handmade with love…
