Metcalfe’s Jumbles Toffee Apple Popcorn

Last week saw the turn of Metcalfe’s Jumbles Eton Mess Popcorn and today it is the turn of it’s compadre Metcalfe’s Jumbles Toffee Apple Popcorn. If you read my review then you will know that Metcalfe’s have released two new flavours which promise to be a completely new popcorn experience.  Available in most supermarkets and online, this popcorn is gluten free, veggie friendly, and made without artificial flavours and colourings. RRP is £1.79 and the bag is 55g. As with most popcorn, crisps and snack packs there is an excess of packaging in comparison to actual contents.  Metcalfe’s have chosen another very…

Metcalfe’s Jumbles Eton Mess Popcorn

Popcorn has taken a bit of a back seat however Metcalfe’s have released two new flavours which promise to be a completely new popcorn experience. How you ask? Well not only do they feature real fruit pieces, they have also marketed it as combining different tastes and textures. I am not sure what they mean by this given surely that is in essence what popcorn is, and what Joe & Seph’s have been nailing for sometime. However let’s see. KitKat Gold Caramelise Your Break

KitKat have had a steady flow of flavours, however more recently they have ramped it up. There’s been the standard KitKat Ruby, KitKat Senses and KitKat Chunky Protein, to the more luxurious Chocolatory range. So what’s the latest to join the family? It’s the KitKat Gold.  In its shimmering gold packaging that’s enough to attract any magpie, sits 4 wafer fingers covered with caramel flavour white and milk chocolate. Split into two layers, the bottom is host to caramel milk chocolate and the top, caramel white chocolate. Interesting move Nestle! You can pick these up in most places, particularly the…

Mint Maltesers Buttons

Shut the front door we have only been given Mint Maltesers Buttons! Usually such variations are reserved for Australia (FYI they have some awesome sounding Maltesers) but not today, because these Mint Maltesers Buttons have landed!  I am surprised they didn’t go for an orange theme given the epic Twirl, delicious Terry Mini Eggs and Mr Kipling Whirls. I applaud them not going with the trend. In fact they haven’t just stopped at buttons, they’ve also given us a mint ice cream lolly. Available in a variety of sizes, you can pick them up in most supermarkets, B&M and Poundland. Cost wise depends…

Great British Biscotti Banoffee Pie

When I spied the Great British Biscotti Banoffee Pie biscotti at the local garden centre I practically hopped skipped and jumped my way to get them! Continuing their dessert theme this joins their Pecan Pie and Sour Cherry & Dark Chocolate biscotti.  I first stumbled across Great British Biscotti Co over on Twitter. Twitter is a wonderful place to discover new people, brands and for me all things foodie related. Christchurch is the home to Great British Biscotti Co where a small team of artisan bakers are giving this twice baked Italian nibble more life.   If you are wondering…
