Betty Bakes Marathon Flapjack

Ever since the Cupcake Snack Warrior over at Reaching for Refreshment and Kevvie Kev over at Kev’s Snack Reviews have raved about Betty Bakes being as scrummy as they look, I have been on the lookout to try some. Low and behold on one of my numerous trips to Longacres Garden Centre I spied a lonely slightly cracked looking Betty Bakes bar in a basket, and lady luck must have been on my side because it was Betty Bakes Marathon Flapjack, which has, yes you guessed it Peanut Butter!!  Free from additives and nasties, made using all natural ingredients including…

Ritz Bits Peanut Butter

Peanut butter meets crackers here with today’s review of Ritz Bits Peanut Butter Crackers. I have previously reviewed the pretzel version with Snyders of Hanover PB Pretzels as well as the sweeter Oreo Mini Reese’s PB and UK Oreo PB, so it is only fitting to see how the crackers measure up.  Creamy peanut butter using natural and organic ingredients sandwiched between two crispy golden brown crackers As suggested these are mini. First off how amazing is that tin! I love it!!! These crispbreads are part of their Fruit Crunch range and accompanies their Currants, Seeds & Oats, which to be fair sounds a little more Ryvita-esque than the…

Baking Fresh contacted me asking whether I wanted to try one of their baking subscription boxes. Of course I jumped at the chance, any reason to do a spot of baking. You may remember that I reviewed the first and second months of the new Bakedin subscription boxes, review here and here, so I am very intrigued to see how Baking Fresh compares. How does it work? Baking…

Hotel Chocolat Peanut Butter Slab

Happy Easter Everyone!! I hope that the Easter Bunny has bought you all lots of goodies. It is only fitting that we have a chocolate review today and why not be a devil and throw in some peanut butter as well! A while back I reviewed Hotel Chocolat Peanut Butter Selectors and was left bitterly disappointed at how they had completely missed the peanut butter mark. From there I was intrigued as to whether their Peanut Butter Slab, which is aimed at crunchy peanut butter lovers, would actually hit the spot and more importantly taste like peanut butter. Enter today’s review,…
