Mrs Freshley’s Peanut Butter Swiss Rolls & Wafers

For those that follow me on Instagram and Twitter you will have seen earlier today a little delivery had arrived from Candy Hero that held some exciting goodies. I couldn’t decide which to go with first so today’s review is a double whammy of peanut butter with Mrs Freshley’s Peanut Butter Swiss Rolls and Mrs Freshley’s Peanut Butter Wafers.  2 Pack – Peanut Butter Creme Filled Chocolate Cakes Can we take a moment to admire how pretty these look, I almost didn’t want to crack them open.. almost. Sainsbury’s Salted Caramel Torte

Pudding, who doesn’t love a good pudding. One of the many wonders is that no matter how full you are, if a pudding presents itself you magical find room for a good wedge. The salted caramel trend seems to be phasing out but there are still a few products that slip onto the Supermarket shelves rather unnoticed, and today’s review is Sainsbury’s Salted Caramel Torte.  A sweet chocolate sponge with vanilla flavoured batter and a salted caramel glaze  Not quite what comes to mind when you think of a torte, but it did look ever so inviting. A while back the delightful people at Propercorn kindly sent me a treasure chest of popcorn with all their flavours to try. An actual treasure chest, seriously my excitement for this was sky high! Inside contained not just 1 packet of each but 4 packets of each of the 6 flavours. I previously reviewed their newest addition – Smooth Peanut and Almond, which was just scrummy, and now I have munched through the rest and here is the verdict.  Lightly Sea Salted* Slightly a nondescript flavour. It is as it suggests lightly salted but I did find that some handfuls were complete…

Cadbury Big Taste Toffee Whole Nut

As you all know Cadbury have given us some hulk of a chocolate bar that comes in 3 varieties, Toffee Whole Nut, Oreo Crunch and Triple Choc Sensation which I reviewed earlier this week, (which you can read here if you missed it).  This bar is 26cm long, 9.5cm in width, and 300g in weight and this reflects in the price of £3 per bar. Yes it maybe a beast of a bar but there really is something I begrudge about paying £3 for a bar of Cadbury Dairy Milk.  Milk chocolate with toffee flavoured filling (32%), Caramel (10%) and hazelnuts…
