Fantastic British Food Festival – Sandown Park Food Festival 2016

It wasn’t until earlier this month that I even knew about the Sandown Park Food Festival. A little email popped into my inbox telling me all about the event and asking whether I would like tickets to go. I jumped at the chance, food festivals are my favourite of all festivals.  Last weekend marked the next location in a series of venues across Britain that Fantastic British Food Festivals have organised for the year. With a name like Fantastic British Food Festivals they really are setting the bar high.  At the beginning of the month I went to the Woking Food…

Bloggers Food Festival

Thanks to The Bloggers Hub, Monday marked my first Food Festival for Bloggers, and what a fab event it was. Centred in London at Kanaloa, there was plenty on offer, and I didn’t get lost trying to find it! The range of Brands was diverse from naturally fruity baked nibbles courtesy of Urban Fruit (baked is definitely better), to deliciously squishy marshmallows by Miss Millars (the blackberry crumble OMG), and delectable macaroons from L’Orchidee (hello watermelon heaven). Breakfast has also been covered by Cereal Lovers 100% natural granola and Stoats Porridge bars. It was great to see some Gluten Free options, and Thanks for Frank’s do…

Carluccio’s Woking

Italian restaurants, there is no shortage of them. Walk along a parade of restaurants and I can guarantee you most will be serving Italian food. With all these Italian choices can there really be much scope in the food served? What comes to mind when I say Italian cuisine? *Gino DiCampo was my first thought :)*; Second, more realistic thought – pizza and pasta. With so many Italian chains, what makes one a cut above the rest? Hot on the newly refurbished restaurant scene, Woking has welcomed Carluccio’s. Modern, glass fronted exterior and spacious floor plan with a view into the kitchen at the rear of…

Reese’s Peanut Butter Oreo Mini

Do you bite or do you twist and lick? Either way two of the nations favourite treats have been fused together to create the Reese’s Peanut Butter Oreo, and they are a must try! It is no secret in our house that I am a fully fledged peanut butter addict, and will buy pretty much anything that has PB in it for that very factor. Oreos are all the craze in America and the number of flavours are quite frankly insane. Double stuff, Golden, Red Velvet, Fudge covered, Strawberry Milkshake, Cookie Dough and even 100kcal Oreos; you name it they…

Montezuma’s Tequila Cubes Kingdom Chocolate Bars

Over the weekend we popped to our local town and Montezuma’s have sneakily opened without us even knowing! Not that we needed any persuasion to peruse the shop, but the lovely sales assistants were offering some delectable goodies to try – their Christmas chocolate truffle filled snowman and milk chocolate butterscotch bar (YUM). For a small shop they had a good range and it was hard to not buy most of it! The first thing that caught our eye was the vibrant packaging of the Kingdom chocolate bars. Kingdom are Montezuma’s ‘little brother’ offering a range of vibrant, innovative and unique…
